About The Photographer
As a young boy I watched my Mother and learned from her as she tended
her
garden. My Father was an Army Aircorp Photographer and I watched and learned from him, and made
prints in our
darkroom.
I was trained as a newspaper photographer and worked for papers to
record
important events.
My Wife and I filled our yard up with beautiful flowers just like my
Mom did.
I taught elementary special education in the public schools for 30+ years. However, photography was
my first love, and
it has grown over the years.
It was only natural for me to begin taking photos of flowers in our
yard.
This lead to finding beautiful flowers in nurseries, dahlia and tulip fields, and wherever I could
find them in our
beautiful Western Washington.
Thank you Mom for the love of flowers, and thank you Dad for the love
of photography.
Without you, these beautiful photographs would not have been made.
